Time flow changes but may not be dimension
We are on the crossroads of physics. We have two big theories that explain all fundamental physics.
Standard Model and General Relativity.
They both can not predict the same and contradict each other.
Two solution go ti fix this. Or you abstract more and more till reasoning crosses the line of science and reaches philosophy, or you do what many great scientist did in the past; you ask what key concept are we missing.
I vote to ask that to myself, and I reached one astonishing point of view.
What if General Relativity can moved to a common 3 dimensional Euclidean space?
What if all quantum mechanics also can be moved to. 3 euclidean space?
Now, what if time is just the density of Higgs field?
It is very simple. Physics is a change of state. Do you remember that game where a guy counts and when he looks everybody stopped? So that is our universe. At the minimum time, all is one state.
By certain rules, everybody moves to the next state. Time is discrete.
Now, since Higgs permeates all space, at bigger scales everything is more predictable.
Higgs density determines an almost identical flow of time if the density is the same. After all what is our feeling of time but the speeds, atoms decays, or even gravity.
Bigger Higgs density it what in physics we may call "time goes at different speed". On other gravity field for example.
Higgs gives mass, then losses density. In Jupiter then there is lower Higgs field because Jupiter absorbs more Higgs than Earth. Bigger planet. Then speeds find less Higgs to transform from one enrgy to another. All the energies transform equally but slower, cause there are less Higgs density. It is like all time is slowed. Well predicted by Einstein formulas. Only Higgs may be the underlaying reason.
Atoms decay slower since less collisions they find with Higgs. So time is the ratio of collisions with Higgs. Higher ratio, faster time.
Notice then time is back to not being dimension, but a common ratio on which most physics interact.
Since Higgs is so ominous and by thermodynamics, locally homogeneous makes sense that its density establishes a common time flow.
Otherwise the macro world would be like planck size physics. There time is misleading since particles may collide more randomly with Higgs. Would be like having a watch that advances with big variance speed. 1sec, 2secs 4 hours , 1 milisec... 1 year...
